United States based artist David Alexander dropped his single 'its not u its me' on June 8th, 2020. The song is an emotional rollercoaster, going from serene almost-happiness to borderline screams of pain. Its not often an emo hip-hop track catches my attention, but this is a perfect example of how emotions can be captured in music.
It's not just captured in the vocals, but the music, lyrics and sound selection closely capture the feelings the vocalist is portraying at any given moment. Whether you're big into the emo rap or emo hip-hop genre, or you grew up going to Warped Tour, I think you'll love this track.
