Universal Audio made an interesting announcement, showing essentially a free DAW that will be available to their Apollo interface customers called LUNA - available 2020. While its' very exciting that LUNA will feature tight integration between hardware and software in the UA ecosystem, there are a few quirks and questions that arise.  First of all, its Mac only. Spitfire Audio has announced the next title in their incredible Albion series of  sample libraries. I'm incredibly excited, and I actually got to play with the library a bit at NAMM 2020. I definitely agree with their description of the library, it feels pretty modern and intimate and reminds me of their LCO library. NAMM 2020: Apogee has announced Symphony Desktop, a 10-in/14-out audio interface that promises to blend the sound quality of the existing Symphony I/O MkII with the simplicity of its more affordable Duet and Quartet interfaces. This is the most affordable Symphony product ever, but still packs in flagship A/D converters and mic preamps, a dynamic touchscreen and a single control knob.
