Spitfire Studio Woodwinds is the third and final release of Spitfire Audio's incredible Studio Orchestral range of Kontakt libraries. As you might imagine by the name, this time around they're providing woodwind instruments sampled in a studio environment. I've reviewed both the Spitfire Studio Brass library and the Spitfire Studio Strings library on this blog as well, and I had incredibly high regards for both of them. Just like the previous releases Spitfire Studio Woodwinds comes in two flavors: standard and professional. They're available for $199 and $399 full retail price, respectively, but are on sale now for $149 and...

Spitfire Studio Strings is Spitfire Audio's first release of a new Spitfire orchestral range of Kontakt libraries. The Professional edition is $399 (reg. $499) and the 'core' is $199 (reg. $249) during its initial sale period. Studio Strings is a massive release with 210GB of samples, 232 articulations (for Professional) across Violins, Violas, Celli, and Basses of a 30 piece string section. The core edition features less microphones and articulations, but the price difference is relatively small (my opinion) so I would recommend purchasing the professional edition if you have the cash. Check out the product page here. No matter...

Spitfire Audio seems to only be capable of pure greatness. Call me a fan-boy, but i'm consistently blown away by the quality to cost ratio that Spitfire creates with their Kontakt Libraries. eDNA Earth is a new Kontakt sample library by Spitifre Audio with an innovative twist - its a synthesizer made of orchestras. They went through their vast catalog of world-class orchestral samples and warped, manipulated, and twisted the sounds until they took on a life of their own. Powered by their incredibly detailed eDNA engine, for only $149 they have released a truly innovative instrument that sounds like...

Massive X by Native Instruments is finally here! If you've been living under a rock for the past year or so, Massive X is Native Instrument's next installment of their incredibly popular Massive wavetable synthesizer. Massive defined the sound of EDM genres for the past 10 years, and dominated the market until Serum by Xfer Records came out. They're pushing Massive X as the synth for the next decade, and thats its designed to evolve over time (the original Massive never really changed much). To bring you all up to speed, Massive X (and Massive) are whats known as 'wavetable...

If you just got a new TubeBuddy account, or one day you went to log in only to find the dreaded 'TubeBuddy Sign-in Required, Click Here' message only to click it and be brought back to the same page with it still asking you to sign-in! Its very frustrating and there isn't an answer online, so here's my solution to hopefully help some people out. Since i'm using Chrome thats what i'll be using here, if you use another browser hopefully the steps are similar. Click the TubeBuddy extension 'TB' at the top of Chrome and in the dropdown click...
