Ecliptiq Audio are a relatively new company focused on creating Kontakt libraries with absolutely stunning GUI's, and an incredible amount of control. Warp was the first installment of Ecliptiq Audio's new series of Kontakt libraries featuring their Qadra engine - specializing in atmospheric pads and soundscapes. Dawn is the second installment of Qadra and specializes in plucks, keys, and synth one-shots. Each library is available for $79, but you can purchase both in the Qadra Series bundle for $119. Regular $99, but on sale for $49 at the time of writing this blog...

Their newest release is the Eric Whitacre Choir library, and as you can imagine it is a sample library of a choir in partnership with Eric Whitacre - a Grammy award winning composer and conductor popular for his usage of choirs. The library is an absolutely massive 279 GB for an also massive $599 ($449 during the launch sale). We'll see if the library earns the cost, but its important to keep in mind that this...

Logic Pro X External Midi to Hardware: This is the case where you want to control an external piece of gear with MIDI programmed into Logic Pro X. We use this so we can program MIDI parts in Logic, and then later route the MIDI through various instruments to record. For example, you can program a synth lead and then use the MIDI to record your Behringer Model D without having to physically...
